about us

All the information about you and your plans to foster is incorporated into a report (the Form F). You are asked to read this, amend it and add any comments you may want to make.

When your application is presented to the fostering panel you will need to be present. The members will have read your report and will talk to you and your social worker about your suitability to foster. The Panel will then decide whether to recommend your approval as foster carers and, if so, for how many children and for what age range.

If all goes well, you will then receive your approval letter.

What next?

Still worried? Ring one of our social
workers on 0800 0856 538 (English
office) or 029 2046 4348 (Welsh office) and check things through with them.

Or email one of our existing carers and find out how they got on via duty@fostercarecooperative.co.uk

We’ll forward it to a carer near you.
