Yesterday we held a Halloween Party at Treforest Football Club, for the little monsters.
The room was transformed into a ‘dungeon’ with games dotted around the room, in the haunted conservatory the buffet was left to rot, before devilish chaos pursued.
Once all the ghoulish goodies had been devoured; carers, staff and children played Horrid House where they had to put their hands through holes and guess what was on the other side including brains, guts and limbs (or baked beans, jelly and balloons between me and you). Other activities were Pin the Wart on the Witch, Halloween Word Search, Skeleton Race, Donut Dangling, Apple Bobbing, Creepy Bingo, Musical Monsters, Mummy Race and some Zombie games.
Prizes were awarded for the best dressed family, carer and child, and the best carved pumpkin. We were also inundated with spooky stories and creepy pictures which we are looking and reading through today – after dark, under the covers with a torch of course.
