What's going on?


A big THANK YOU to Show Racism the RED Card Wales for asking the children at FCC to be mascots at the Sporting Legends V Football Association of Wales match tonight in Rhondda Cynon Taff.

Tonight the Show Racism the RED Card Wales hold their charity match at Cambrian FC at their ground in Tonypandy, Rhondda Cynon Taff.

The match is the 3rd occurrence of the Sporting Legends V FAWales series. Last year the Legends were eventual victors winning 4-2 at Taffs Well FC.  The series is currently tied at 1-1 with both teams contesting the Show Racism the RED Card Cup again this year.

The Sporting Legends side will be captained by Swansea City legend Lee Trundle who scored 4 goals in last year’s game.  The team will be managed by SRtRC Patron and current Merthyr Town Manager Steve Jenkins.

The Sporting Legends confirmed to play are; Jason Trinder, Andy Gorman, Andy Legg, Steve Jenkins, Damon Searle, Lee Jarman, Lee Trundle, Tom Ramasut, Christian Robert, Chris Ingram, Sean Wharton, Craig Hughes, Jarred Harvey, Nathan Palmer, Roger Gibbins, Jason Webber.  All of them have been involved in Welsh football along the way, and many have played for the big clubs including Swansea City and Cardiff City Football Club.

The match is FREE to attend and Show Racism the RED Card are asking for everyone to come along and support the campaign.  Even if you aren’t a fan of football there will be various activities available to keep you entertained.

Cambrian FC team players will be helping on the night by collecting donations by the turnstiles for the campaign and its work.
