What's going on?

Thousands of people flock every year to the grounds of a historic castle, for the highlight of the rural calendar.

Held annually the Vale Show attracts over 20,000 people, and has grown considerably over the last few years, making it one of the largest one day events in the Vale of Glamorgan.  It’s one of the oldest too, established in 1772 for farmers to meet and compete in annual produce and livestock competitions, growing into what it is today.

There will be over 250 trade stands, selling a huge variety of goods.  Alongside this there is a large craft fair, horticultural show, home produce marquee, poultry show, dog show and the traditional livestock competitions.

The FCC Wales team will be there too looking to recruit new foster carers.  The team will on hand to answer any questions you may have, as well as handing out balloons and stickers, and giving you the opportunity to feature in our 'Wall of Frame'.
