What's going on?

It's not all about the great weather expected this weekend, the team are heading to The Gower Chilli Festival 2014 in Swansea.

Could you be a foster carer? Pop by our stall to find out more information. Plus, we'll be handing out balloons, stickers and taking pictures for our wall of 'frame'.

A big part of the event is the ‘Gower Chilli Cookoff’ and contestants will battle it out to make the best chilli, on a camping stove.  Apparently it’s not all about the heat, but getting a superb consistency, aroma, balanced flavour and a great chilli kick.  The FCC team are entered, however, we think the chilli will be remembered for all the wrong reasons!

There will also be:

Emporium with plants, sauces, fresh chillis and exhibitions
Camping on site
Chilli growers corner with seeds, advice, tips and discussion forum
Street food suppliers
Hog roast & BBQ lunches
Vegetarian specialities
Vintage tea tent with baked goods
Kids zone with activities and bouncy castle
Local craft market
Live music
Regional food & drink producers market
Licensed bar (late night)

South Gower Sports Club

FREE entry to event

£2 car park charge, donated to charity
