As a bit of fun; to support the annual Children in Need appeal staff based in Wales met at the Cardiff office to try out their baking skills. Staff who opted out of baking, were the judges and scored the cakes on both taste and appearance.

This week was National Care Leavers’ Week, which is about highlighting the needs of care leavers, and encouraging the agencies responsible for looking after them to work in a coordinated and effective way. The week is also about focusing the minds of politicians on the levels of support given to the vulnerable children and teenagers, and raising public awareness of the challenges they face entering adult life.
Yesterday we held a Halloween Party at Treforest Football Club, for the little monsters.
A big THANK YOU to Show Racism the RED Card Wales for asking the children at FCC to be mascots at the Sporting Legends V Football Association of Wales match tonight in Rhondda Cynon Taff.
It's been 15 glorious years for The Foster Care Co-operative - having been set up in 1999 by our founder Laurie Gregory.
Since then the organisation has gone from strength to strength and still remains the only co-operative operating in foster care.
FCC has a special culture based on valuing staff and foster carers and the agency is dedicated to providing mutual support that will change a child’s life.
