Skyrocket, the organisation set up by The Foster Care Co-operative, The Children's Family Trust and Community Foster Care has made it into our local press (Worcester News and Malvern Gazette).

The Foster Care Co-operative has joined forces with The Children’s Family Trust and Community Foster Care in an unprecedented move - to offer unique training that will cut costs and fully prepare foster care staff for the unique task of managing a fostering organisation. ‘Skyrocket’ is the resulting joint venture.
Every year, The Fostering Network - one of the UK’s leading fostering charities - launches a campaign called ‘Sons and Daughters Month’. The campaign celebrates the role of ‘birth children’ in the fostering household.

We are very pleased to say that we have launched a new area on our website aimed at the children of our carers! Kidz Zone is a place solely for children. They can enter competitions, become our ‘guest reporter’ and submit art electronically for publishing. They can also catch up on any new announcements, read the blog written by our very own Kidz Rep and contact us if they need to.

Following the horrific fire at Grenfell Tower in North Kensington, the government is advising local authorities and social and private landlords to assess all buildings over 18 metres high (approximately six storeys) to identify those with external cladding made of Aluminium Composite Material.
