Short story competition a big success!

Thursday, October 2, 2014

Our annual short story competition was a huge success!
Author Siobhan Curham judged this year's FCC short story competition and said that she was impressed with all of the entries and found it difficult to choose winners.
The competition – which was open to both foster and birth children of FCC’s carers – was a great opportunity to showcase great imagination and writing skills.
Siobhan Curham is best known for her books Dear Dylan, Shipwrecked and Finding Cherokee Brown.

Our carers really are amazing people - and you could be one of them! If you are interested in becoming a foster carer for us - or you know someone who is interested - we will be at the Guildhall Shopping Centre in Stafford on Friday 26th September from 9am. Come and find us there!

Two of our super star carers Tina and Donna, who happen to be mother and daughter, have recently completed the physically challenging Ironman and Tough Mudder assault courses.

Over the past couple of weeks the nominations have been rolling in now it’s time to pick the winners.

If you are interested in becoming a foster carer for us - or you know someone who is interested - come along to the Crowngate Shopping Centre in Worcester on Friday 19th September from 10am for a chat.
