The Foster Care Co-operative is holding a series of informal information events in October, across South Wales for those who are interested in becoming a foster carer.

The deadline for the Short Story Competition is approaching fast - all entries must be with us by Friday to be considered!

Could you be a foster carer? More carers are needed; and we would be interested to hear from people from all cultural backgrounds, who have a genuine interest in providing a safe and caring home for children from diverse upbringings.

Could you be a foster carer? The team have a stall at the Maesteg Children's Market on Saturday 6th, you can't miss us, we'll be under a bright pink umbrella. If you've ever thought about fostering, or would like further information pop along and speak to us.

There's one thing for sure - Wales has never seen anything like it!

Interested in becoming a foster carer for us? Come down to Bilston Market, Wolverhampton on Friday 28th August for a chat.

The annual Monmouthshire Show is the biggest one-day event of its type in Wales and attracts thousands of people – and we’ll be there!

This year award winning novelist and life coach Siobhan Curham will be judging the entries. She has written books for adults, young adults and children – both fiction and non-fiction – and has publishing deals in the UK, France and Germany. She is also a regular contributor to newspapers, magazines and websites and has featured on various TV and radio shows, including the BBC news, BBC Breakfast, GMTV and Woman’s Hour. She is the author of the 'Shipwrecked' series, which is being adapted for BBC… eight dance students, one mysterious stranger and a steamy tropical island harbouring a sinister secret.

We are the proud sponsors of the Junior Sports Personality Award, at the European Capital of Sport Awards in conjunction with Cardiff Council and Nation Radio.
