Too old to be a Foster Carer?

There is no such thing as ‘too old’ to be a foster carer. Some of our best foster carers didn’t start until they were retired and have continued into their 70s.

The only age limit for foster carers is that you must be over 21 years old.

Becoming a foster carer is a big step. Here at the Foster Care Co-Operative, we can answer all of your questions and provide fiull training support if you decide to become a foster parent. If you’d like to know more, fill out the form below and we’ll be in touch for a no-commitment chat to discuss any questions you may have. Also, have a look at our Fostering Question and Answer page.
