Don’t let everything get on top of you this Christmas. Check out these resources with some useful ideas on how to manage things if emotions run high – or if kids go into sensory overload! Find more great resources for carers and links to specialist support sites, within the resources section of our Carer Support Hub.
If you would like further specialist support or training to help you please discuss this with your supervising social worker. You can find details of scheduled training on our events calendar and within your training hub.
We’re looking for caring people who can make a real difference to children’s lives.
The initial basic criteria for becoming a foster carer is: • To be aged 18 or over (there is no upper age limit!) • To have at least one spare bedroom in your home available for fostering.
Final approval will be based on an assessment, medical and background checks.
