We held a competition for our foster care households, to design a ‘wash your hands’ poster!
We thought this would be a fantastic activity for our children and young people: giving them something to do whilst reinforcing the need to all keep our hands clean in these challenging times.
We received some fantastic entries (the winner overall is pictured above). All the other entries were so impressive that we sent them a prize for entering.

The initial basic criteria for becoming a foster carer is:
• To be aged 18 or over (there is no upper age limit!)
• To have at least one spare bedroom in your home available for fostering.
Final approval will be based on an assessment, medical and background checks.
